Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College organized visits to its Students of JCSC 12/18-19 where they were accompanied by their Directing Staff to Kigali City and places of interest in a view to familiarize themselves with activities that take place in those institutions. Kigali Laboratory (KLAB) in TELECOM HOUSE has been selected. The Theme for the visit was “Infrastructure development as a pillar for National Security”. The visit aimed to familiarise students with the first-hand information on the operations of these institutions and how they contribute to infrastructure development as a pillar for national security. Thus the College considered this study tour as an important aspect of its curriculum.
The objectives of the visit were to familiarize the students and have them appreciate infrastructural development as a pillar of National Security, to familiarize the students with the Infrastructure development and security challenges that is common within the Rwandan domestic realities and also to create an opportunity for the students to conduct a research work.
The visiting delegation was briefed on the organization and functions of these institutions where they benefited a lot.
