Students of JCSC 09 conducted a Defence TEWTs nicknamed RINDA INKIKO from 7 to 11 January 2017 and Offensive Operations TEWT nicknamed NESHA UMWANZI, from 13 to 17 January 2017.
The exercises started with model discussions in the College followed by an outdoor application in the general area of KIREREMA hill - KABALI - RUBAVU District.
The aim of the exercise RINDA INKIKO was to practice students of JCSC 09 on the mechanisms of planning and conducting defensive operations at Bde level of command using a sand model and the actual ground.
The objective was to carry out Defence Combat Estimate and through understanding of the plan, while main objective of Exercise NESHA UMWANZI was properly conduct a Combat Estimate in Offensive Operations and demonstrate an understanding of the application of practices and produces of offensive ops at tactical level.
