On Tuesday 12 July 2016, the Commandant RDF Command and Staff College, Maj Gen JB Kazura officially opened the Junior Command and Staff Course (JCSC) 08/16.

The JCSC 08/16 comprises of 38 student officers in the ranks of majors and captains. The course will run for 17 weeks from 11 July 2016 to 04 November 2016.

In his remarks, the Commandant congratulated the students for having been selected to attend the course and urged them to use the opportunity to aim high in order to uphold personal pride and the institutional trust in them. He assured the students that what they will learn will immensely enable them to contribute positively in their future assignments, and earn the RDF and Rwanda an international recognition whenever they will be on external missions and/or courses.
