Essentially, JCSC aims at preparing selected officers for Grade 3 Staff appointments, Command appointment at mid-tactical level of war."
Hence, while the JCSC seems short, it prepares officers to become more competent commanders within and at Battalion level and as a Grade 3 Staff officer. It also prepares them and is a prerequisite for the Senior Command and Staff course.
The official opening ceremony was preceded by a physical readiness test, entry test exam and the acquaintance to the college infrastructure and facilities.
